What is the myTROVIS app?
It is a web-based app display for SAMSON TROVIS controllers in district heating, mainly for the 5500 series. To make the whole thing as simple and as independent of the operating system as possible, we have decided not to offer a download app for a fee. So, it doesn't matter whether you use an Android or Apple smartphone / tablet.
It replaces the old analog room control units in the living room and is the new digital and convenient solution for the couch or on the go.
How do I use the myTROVIS app?
You simply visit the myTROVIS.com website in your browser and register there free of charge. With one click, you can save the home page as a widget on your smartphone or tablet, and it acts as a kind of app. QR codes also help to simplify access to the home screen. Simple & Clever is the motto of this application. By using mobile devices, you are completely independent of location, which is extremely important and useful for this type of product. Imagine it's 0 degrees outside in winter and I'm on my way home from work. I've left the heating switched off so that I don't spend the whole day heating for nothing. Thanks to the myTROVIS app, I can easily set my temperature at home while I'm out and about so that I'm greeted by cozy warmth as soon as I walk in the door. Comfort at the touch of a button, so to speak.
Who is the myTROVIS app suitable for?
This application is specially optimized for you as a private individual, for example as an apartment or house owner, provided SAMSON district heating products such as heating controllers are in use. The application is also ideal for vacation homes to access the temperature control remotely because you don't live around the corner. The myTROVIS app is compatible with the SAMSON heating controllers TROVIS 5578-E, 5573, 5576, 5579 and with the SAM HOME GATEWAY.
If I have not yet installed any SAMSON devices at home but am interested, where do I go?
That's quite simple. If you have not yet installed any SAMSON TROVIS devices at home, simply contact your local heating engineer/station builder, who will then procure, install, and configure the appropriate devices. You can then use the myTROVIS app on your smartphone or tablet.
