Clean Tech globe valves for throttling and on/off service
Type 3321 Globe Valves by SAMSON are already being used in many biotechnology applications as well as in the food and beverages industry. The stainless steel valves supply the processes with water, steam and air. Tailored to the requirements that apply in these sterile and aseptic processes, SAMSON is now presenting the proven Type 3321 Globe Valve in a Clean Tech version. All external and wetted valve parts are made of stainless steel, which ensures suitability for cleaning with the cleaning agents and procedures commonly applied in the target markets. The valves have a very compact design and are light weight. For example, a DN 25 valve in the Clean Tech version is 60 % narrower than the standard valve. As a result, the new valve version is particularly suitable for skid mounting.
Contrary to the standard version, the Clean Tech valve is fitted with the Type 3379 Pneumatic Actuator and Type 3724 Positioner. For operators, this means easier start-up, operation and maintenance because these units are the same ones as those attached to the predominantly used aseptic valves. The optional positioner integrated into the actuator housing is also easy to operate. It comes with a display and three pushbuttons to navigate through the menu on the display.
