In March, SAMSON opened a new sales, service and repair center in Geismar, Louisiana. Staff members of SAMSON Controls, customers active in the region as well as representatives of the local chamber of commerce attended the event. Together with Mr. James Evans (COO at SAMSON Controls) and Mr. Ryan Holmelin (CMO at SAMSON Controls), Dr. Andreas Widl (CEO and chairman of the SAMSON AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT executive board) inaugurated the new center during the official ribbon cutting celebrations. Dr. Widl had come from the company headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, Germany with Dr. Thomas Steckenreiter (member of the executive board for research and development) for this special occasion.
