During the traditional welcoming of new apprentices, SAMSON cordially greeted the newcomers with speeches, presentations and guided tours of the facilities. More than 100 participants – including the new apprentices and their parents as well as the vocational trainers, works council and executive board members – took part in the event held in Frankfurt on 14 June 2019.
In his welcome address, Dr. Ingo Koch, member of the executive board for finance, controlling, HR and legal affairs, underlined the importance that SAMSON places on training young people and securing junior staff who have the right skills for the future. "Our goal is that you will all stay at SAMSON after completing your vocational training because you are convinced that we are the right company for you," said Dr. Koch.
Mr. Michael Hintz, head of vocational training, invited the new apprentices to show self-motivation and use the opportunities they are given at SAMSON.
Including the 46 newcomers in 2019, a total of 138 young people complete their vocational training at SAMSON in 12 different jobs.
